Specialty Building Products (SBP) is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Duluth, GA. You will ensure accurate processing of vendor invoices, perform 3-way match, and manage payments per terms and policies.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and support for monthly closings. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years AP experience, strong MS Excel skills, and familiarity with accounting software.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years accounts payable experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and e-mail/internet savvy.
• Experience with accounting software and vendor communications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify 3-way match for capitalized purchases and non-inventory purchases with proper authorization.
• Enter invoices into accounting system and prepare batch payments.
• Assist monthly closings and process remittance information from checks and wires.
• Investigate and resolve invoice/PO discrepancies; maintain vendor records and payment terms.
