Job summary

Randstad USA is partnering with a premier food manufacturing and specialty culinary company in the Merrimack Valley region to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for their North Andover, MA facility. The role focuses on full-cycle AP, vendor management, and month-end close with ERP system improvements.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of AP experience and an Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in hands-on Accounts Payable
• Associates degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and core accounting principles

Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle AP: process vendor invoices with PO, receipts, and invoices with proper approvals
• Payments & Reconciliation: prepare weekly and ad hoc check runs and ACH payments; reconcile vendor statements
• Vendor & System Management: maintain vendor records and W-9; track POs; assist ERP optimization
• Month-End & Audits: take ownership of AP month-end close procedures including accruals and journal entries; support audits
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with operations, purchasing, and vendor partners to ensure smooth finances
