Job summary

Remedy Staffing in Honolulu is hiring an entry-level Full-time Accounts Payable Clerk. You will process vendor invoices, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payments while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field, or a high school diploma with 1–2 years AP experience, and familiarity with QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• High school diploma with 1–2 years accounts payable experience.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and payment requests.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
• Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing issues.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account balances.
• Assist with month-end closing processes and audits as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting procedures.
