Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a growing and dynamic team in Honolulu, HI. The role focuses on processing invoices, payments, and maintaining accurate records to support timely vendor settlements.

Requirements include 1 year of accounts payable experience, proficiency with 10-key data entry, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with accounting software. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, on-site employment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related finance support function.
• Proficiency with 10-key data entry.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software/ERP systems.
• Ability to analyze data and resolve discrepancies with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Code supplier invoices and supporting documentation in the accounting system.
• Schedule checks, ACH payments, or wire transfers and monitor discount terms.
• Reconcile entries and verify vendor accounts against monthly statements.
• Coordinate with buyers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Process employee expense reports and advances.
• Charge expenses to correct accounts and cost centers.
• Maintain historical records and convert documents to electronic format.
• Assist with audits by gathering information and research.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes.
