Crescent Energy is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Houston, TX to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payment requests. The role supports vendor relations and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including lookup functions, PivotTables and formulas.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize a high volume of transactions.

Responsabilités

• Onboard new vendors and validate required documentation.
• Review and process invoices and manual payment requests in OpenInvoice.
• Respond to vendor and internal questions about invoice status and payments promptly.
• Resolve routine invoice coding and payment exceptions.
• Escalate complex issues to supervisor or senior AP Specialist.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Perform additional AP duties and special projects as assigned.
