Job summary

The role requires 10+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, 5+ years of leadership, and strong knowledge of SAP, OpenInvoice, and OpenTicket, with a track record in high-volume environments and SOX controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounts payable and accounting experience.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience leading accounts payable teams.
• Experience overseeing high-volume, multi-entity accounts payable operations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable processes, and internal controls.
• Experience with SAP required.
• Experience utilizing OpenInvoice and OpenTicket required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
• Demonstrated experience managing process improvement, automation, or system implementation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage the Accounts Payable function, including supervisors, specialists, and support staff.
• Establish departmental goals, performance metrics, and service level expectations.
• Oversee the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Ensure compliance with policies, SOX requirements, and internal control frameworks.
• Direct payment activities (ACH, wires, checks, etc.).
• Collaborate with Treasury to optimize cash management and payment strategies.
• Support acquisitions, divestitures, and integration activities.
