Job summary

HKS Inc. in Dallas seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to support our payables team. You will enter and classify transactions, reconcile data, and assist with month-end closing. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications include an associate degree in accounting or related field, 0–2 years experience, and proficiency with MS Office; Deltek Vision is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically 0-2 years of experience.
• Experience in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Experience in Deltek Vision preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to hold sensitive information with confidentiality and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accounting records by computing, classifying and recording numerical data for consultant entry, UK trade entry and imported US trade entry.
• Maintains accounting databases by entering assigned data into the computer; processing backups as requested.
• Emails responses to payment inquiry and information requests.
• May assist with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects.
• Performs tasks detailed in the monthly check list review.
• May check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by team.
