Qualifications

• 3–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred; college-level coursework is a plus.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping procedures, invoicing, balancing, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365, especially Excel, and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and enter approved invoices into the accounting system.
• Review invoices, bills, vouchers, and other documents for accuracy before entering them into records.
• Verify and post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other accounting records.
• Perform accurate calculations, balancing, and reconciliations.
• Support and cross-train in Customer Billing, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger Accounting as needed.
• Prepare weekly payroll and complete related activities when needed.
• Provide Front Desk coverage and support as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and follow established accounting procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the accounting team and support other accounting functions as needed.
