Job summary

Covenant Logistics is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist Maintenance to collaborate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate payment processing. You will review, process, and pay TMT invoices, reconcile statements, and address discrepancies, supporting month-end closes and audits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Previous accounts payable experience preferred.
• Transportation industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process TMT invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Complete and send special remittances.
• Maintain accurate records of all TMT Accounts Payable transactions.
• Assist with month-end close processes and audits.
• Work with internal departments and vendors to resolve payment issues.
• Cross-train with other employees to cover daily AP tasks.
• Assist with other accounting duties as assigned by the AP Supervisor.

Education

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
