Ben E. Keith Company is seeking an Accounts Payable associate to code invoices for payment, maintain AP files, and support month-end close in a fast-paced environment in Texas. The role requires attention to detail, strong data entry and communication with vendors and internal teams.

The successful candidate will have at least two years in AP, experience with MS Office and SAP/VIM, and a proactive, self-starting mindset to help our finance team ensure accurate, timely payments.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum two years of experience in Accounts Payable or equivalent duties.
• Wholesale foodservice distribution experience preferred.
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized.
• Outstanding data entry skills, alpha and numeric, 10 key by touch.
• Professional communication skills and excellent telephone etiquette.
• Proficiency with MS Office and SAP/VIM experience a plus.
• Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Code invoices to be paid and maintain AP files.
• Verify accuracy by reviewing posted voucher listings daily.
• Identify pricing and quantity discrepancies with vendors.
• Follow up on open items to ensure timely resolution.
• Scan and image vouchered documents.
• Support month-end closing by auditing liability listings.
• Assist with other duties as needed by Controller.
