Job summary

Ben E. Keith is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to handle invoicing, vendor vouchers, and AP filing in our San Antonio location. You'll verify pricing and quantities, post vouchers, and help maintain accurate liability listings to support month-end close.

The role requires attention to detail, data-entry accuracy (10-key by touch), and familiarity with SAP or VIM. Professional communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of accounts payable experience.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.
• Accurate data entry skills, 10-key by touch.
• SAP or VIM experience preferred.
• Professional communication and telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Receive voucher invoices from vendors for products purchased for resale.
• Identify and resolve pricing or quantity discrepancies between invoices and received items.
• Coordinate with the merchandise department on discrepancies and with operations on quantity issues.
• Follow up on open items to ensure timely resolution.
• Scan and image all voucher documents (invoice, receiving docs, bill of lading, packing slips).
• Verify the accuracy of others' AP work by reviewing posted voucher listings daily.
• Maintain complete listings of outstanding liabilities for inventory received but not yet vouchered; support month-end close.
• Maintain AP files and records.
• Perform other duties as required by the Controller.
