Ace Roofing LLC, a growing roofing contractor in Bozeman, MT, seeks an Accounts Payable Clerk to manage daily AP tasks, verify invoices, and maintain vendor records with accuracy and timeliness.

You will support the accounting team with reporting, reconcile statements, and assist with year-end 1099 preparation while upholding internal controls and delivering excellent service to vendors and internal customers. This role emphasizes detail and organization in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; associates/bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience with accounts payable and basic accounting concepts.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite or similar software; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and process vendor payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
• Assist with expense reporting and financial reconciliations.
• Generate accounts payable reports for leadership.
• Assist with year-end 1099 preparation and reporting.
• Maintain records for audits and internal controls.
• Support the accounting team with administrative duties.
