Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or related accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process vendor invoices by matching with purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Maintain open files for purchase orders.
• Code invoices and obtain necessary approvals for payments and check requests.
• Print, verify, and maintain accounts payable voucher reports and aging/open reports.
• Answer vendor and internal department inquiries regarding invoice and payment status.
• Process check runs in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist with processing receiving documents based on purchase orders.
• Cross-train to provide backup for accounts receivable processing and customer account maintenance.
• Support store operations by answering phones, assisting with freight put-away, and helping customers at POS.
• Perform end-of-day closing procedures, including Saturdays when scheduled.
