Kihomac in Byron, GA (US) seeks a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to manage daily AP activities, vendor onboarding, and close support. You will verify invoices, post into Unanet, reconcile accounts, and assist with 1099s and tax reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting management personnel
• Familiarity with DoD compliance processes and contract types is desirable
• Proficiency with accounting systems, Unanet a plus
• Strong grasp of fundamental accounting and numerical accuracy
• Experience supporting multiple locations and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Perform daily AP activities including three-way match, coding and posting
• Enter invoices across systems (Primarily Unanet)
• Maintain vendor information and support onboarding
• Prepare AP accruals and assist with monthly close
• Reconcile AP accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Review invoices to prevent duplicates and late payments
• Assist with DoD compliance, audits and 1099/vendor records
• Collaborate with staff across locations and meet deadlines
