Job summary

APi HVAC Services, part of APi Group, seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our shared services team in a fast-paced environment. The role requires 2–5 years of AP experience, sharp attention to detail, and strong communication to support project accounting and vendor interactions.

The position is based in Wisconsin, not remote, with responsibilities spanning invoice processing, PO matching, tax accruals, and reimbursement handling.

Qualifications

• AP experience required; 2–5 years preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Self-starter with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Review, post, and scan invoices.
• Ensure use tax is accrued on invoices.
• Perform 2-way match between Purchase Order and Invoice.
• Investigate discrepancies where invoices exceed POs.
• Enter Purchase Orders.
• Review vendor statements.
• Maintain filings for City Licenses.
• Handle employee reimbursements.
• Provide support for Project Accountant team.
• Daily communication with customers via phone and email.
