Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting, accounts payable, or related clerical experience.
• Experience processing invoices and working with accounts payable systems.
• Understanding of general ledger coding, purchase orders, and invoice reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office applications.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
• Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation.
• Review and verify invoice quantities, pricing, and proper general ledger coding.
• Obtain appropriate approvals for non-inventory invoices.
• Enter invoices into the accounts payable system and assist with weekly payment processing and check runs.
• Review outstanding invoices, research discrepancies, and resolve payment issues.
• Ensure vendor discounts are properly applied and payments are processed according to company policies.
• Process freight invoices and coordinate with third-party payment services.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice and payment inquiries.
• Assist with additional accounting responsibilities and special projects as needed.
