In this role, you’ll resolve discrepancies, ensure compliance with internal policies, and support junior team members to improve departmental efficiency. As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including high-volume invoice processing and complex vendor reconciliations. Strong attention to detail will be essential as you analyse and process payments in accordance with internal accounting policies, maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledgers, resolve billing and payment discrepancies, and recommend process or policy improvements when appropriate. You will also research aged invoices, prepare audit documentation, and collaborate with internal and external partners to build and maintain effective working relationships.
Success in this role requires technical proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel and Word. This person will be comfortable managing high-volume processing, working effectively in a cross-departmental team environment, and handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
