AP Specialist – Healthcare organization
Salary: $19 - $25 per hour.

Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This position is a fast-paced, innovative role that values expertise in Accounts Payable, Data Entry, and Invoicing.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete cycle of Accounts Payable activities, including processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure all invoices are accurately entered into the system and approved according to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain vendor relationships by responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare and present regular reports on AP activities, providing insights on trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new AP systems and processes.
- Assist in month‑end closing activities, including the preparation of accruals and reconciliations.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Proficient in data entry and invoicing, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in using AP software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a desire to stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices.
