Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional for a hybrid, full-time role in the Finance department. You will receive, review and process invoices, work with Purchasing to resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor records to support timely payments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of AP experience, a strong understanding of 3-way matching, and education in accounting. Associates or Bachelor’s degrees in accounting are preferred.

Qualifications

• AP accounting experience required with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate data in AP.
• Familiarity with vendor management and 3-way matching concepts.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and process invoices into the system.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to resolve discrepancies and exceptions.
• Process vendor requests and maintain vendor records in AP/Procurement modules.
• Monitor GRNI monthly and ensure clean data across sites.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile statements.
• Serve as backup when teammates are out and assist with weekly payment runs.
• Maintain filing and business records; perform other duties as assigned.

Description

• Receive, Review & Process invoices into the system.


• Work with Purchasing and other levels of the company to ensure timely processing and resolve discrepancies & exceptions.


• Process update or new vendors request as need it.


• Monitor GRNI monthly and interact with sites to maintain clean data in AP and Procurement modules.


• Attend vendor inquiries and statements reconciliations.


• Serve as backup when other team members are out of the office.


• Ensure timely filing & maintenance of business records.


• Help with weekly payment run as needed.


• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate degree (two-year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study: Accounting or Finance


• Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience in AP-accounting (3-way matching)

Education

Preferred

Associates or better in Accounting.

Bachelors or better in Accounting.
