Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions partners with a non-profit in San Diego to recruit an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. The role focuses on AP processing, vendor communications, and supporting month-end close in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of AP experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication to collaborate with vendors and internal teams. The position offers benefits and opportunities to support audits and GL activities.

Are you looking for a new fun fast paced environment to work in? LHH has partnered with an exciting non-profit company centrally located in San Diego who’d like to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to their team.

Responsibilities of this Accounts Payable Specialist include:

• Processing up to 300 invoices monthly
• Perform vendor reconciliations at month end
• Resolve any discrepancies on invoices with coding/obtaining approvals
• Provide supporting documentation for annual audit
• General Ledger support
• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
• Experience working fast paced environment
• Strong initiative, driven, and flexibility are musts
• Ability to scrutinize invoices to spot discrepancies
• Team player with good communication skills
