Courtesy Automotive Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dealership accounting team. This role handles vendor invoices, statement reconciliations, and timely payments within a busy automotive environment.

Two years of AP experience is required; dealership experience is preferred. Proficiency in Excel and experience with CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds are a plus, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Automotive dealership experience preferred.
• Experience with dealership software such as CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Obtain proper approvals for invoice payments.
• Prepare checks, ACH payments, and weekly payment runs.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor payment inquiries.
• Maintain accurate AP records and files.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely payment.
• Assist with month-end closing and AP reconciliations.
• Communicate with department managers regarding invoice approvals and issues.
• Follow company accounting policies and internal controls.
• Perform other AP-related duties as assigned.
