We’re looking for a sharp, detail-driven Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team onsite in South Bend, Indiana. If you're passionate about numbers, vendor relationships, and making an impact, this could be your perfect next move!

What You’ll Do

• Own the full accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with vendors — you’ll be the go-to person they trust.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues with finesse.
• Ensure all invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions are processed in accordance with company policies and accounting principles.
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Collaborate across teams while staying laser-focused working independently.
• Utilize Excel to organize, track, and report on AP data with speed and precision.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience and 5+ years of overall Accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles (we like the numbers right the first time).
• Excellent communication skills — professional, clear, and customer-focused.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel — from pivot tables to v-lookups, you're comfortable using Excel as a key tool.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience with vendor management and a keen eye for process improvements.
