Key Responsibilities - Accounts Payable Specialist
- Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice entry, payment processing, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and supporting financial documentation.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive business relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Support audits and provide necessary accounts payable documentation as requested.
Qualifications - Accounts Payable Specialist
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience required; hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor with a customer-service mindset when interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Must be able to work on-site full-time in Nashville, TN.
