Job summary

Advantex Professional Services is seeking a Full-Cycle Accounts Payable Specialist in the Long Beach area for a temporary role. This position follows a Monday-Friday schedule, full-time hours, and offers pay starting at $24 per hour, depending on experience.

You will manage the full AP cycle from invoice receipt to payment, perform 2-way and 3-way matching, reconcile statements, and support month-end closing. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail are required.
• Experience with AP processes and accurate data entry is essential.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable process from invoice receipt through payment
• Review, code, enter, and process invoices accurately and efficiently
• Perform 2-way and 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents
• Process vendor payments and assist with payment runs
• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies
• Maintain accurate vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries
• Assist with month-end closing activities and AP reconciliations
• Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
• Prepare AP reports and provide accounting support as needed
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records
• Excel skills required (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, sorting, data analysis)

We are seeking an experienced Full-Cycle Accounts Payable Specialist the Long Beach area who has strong hands‑on AP experience, excellent attention to detail, and advanced Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable process from invoice receipt through payment
• Review, code, enter, and process invoices accurately and efficiently
• Perform 2-way and 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents
• Process vendor payments and assist with payment runs
• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies
