We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join a fast-paced accounting team in Kent, WA. Key Responsibilities:

Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
Match, verify, and code invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner
Prepare weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wires)
Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies
Assist with month-end close by preparing accruals and AP reports
Respond to vendor inquiries and foster positive vendor relationships
Support internal audits and provide required documentation

Qualifications:

2+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
Experience in food production, manufacturing, or distribution preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks)
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
