Job summary

CFS is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing accounting team in Hilliard, Ohio. This full-time, onsite role focuses on processing invoices, vendor reconciliation, and ensuring timely payments while upholding accuracy and compliance.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years AP experience, strong Excel skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures.
• Experience working with accounting or ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Review and verify invoice coding and approvals
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and process weekly payment runs, including ACH, wire, and check payments
• Maintain vendor records and update account information as needed
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status
• Assist with month-end close activities and reporting
• Support audits by providing requested documentation
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable files
