Job summary

LHH in Fort Lauderdale seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist with construction industry experience to manage high-volume AP for multiple projects. This role offers a path for growth within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

You'll review invoices, code to job costing, reconcile vendor statements, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely payments. Onsite five days a week, with comprehensive benefits and a clear advancement path.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of construction accounting experience
• Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience
• Procore experience is required
• Experience processing a high volume of invoices
• Strong understanding of construction job costing and cost codes
• Experience with purchase orders and vendor reconciliations
• Sage 300 CRE experience strongly preferred
• Subcontractor or specialty contractor experience preferred
• Experience within construction or project-based environments
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail

Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 base + 10% discretionary annual bonus

LHH is partnering with a rapidly growing construction organization in the renewable energy industry seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team.
