Mountain Air Cargo, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the Accounting team with invoices, expense reports and corporate card activity. The role also prepares monthly forecasts and variance explanations for FedEx.

You will maintain records, reconcile accounts, troubleshoot invoice issues and provide timely customer service by phone, email and chat. Office-based with training provided.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfort with all levels of management, vendors and customers.
• Positive attitude and openness to change and learning new skills.

Responsabilités

• Process accounts payable invoices with accurate coding and approvals.
• Process expense reports for corporate travelers and cardholders.
• Review and verify corporate travel credit card statements.
• Process retail fuel tickets and related invoices.
• Review FedEx coding on all billable AP transactions.
• Partner with Flight Operations and Travel to resolve errors and missing documentation.
• Reconcile accounts, identifying posting errors or omissions using sound accounting standards.
• Investigate and resolve invoice processing issues.
• Prepare the detailed FedEx monthly estimate, including accrual reversals, paid and unpaid invoices, new accruals and re-accruals.
• Analyze and communicate monthly variance explanations to FedEx.
• Prepare annual spend budgets for FedEx.
• Maintain and distribute accounting documents, records and reports.
• Provide timely, accurate customer service by phone, email and chat.
• Support the Accounting Department with other duties as assigned.

Position Overview
