• Experience handling a busy invoice workload and resolving discrepancies.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, invoice matching, vendor reconciliations, and payment procedures.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Comfort communicating with vendors and colleagues across departments.
• Working knowledge of Excel and an accounting or ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Process approximately 40–60 vendor invoices daily with accurate coding and documentation.
• Match invoices against purchase orders and receiving records.
• Research pricing differences, missing receipts, incorrect quantities, and other discrepancies.
• Follow up with internal teams to secure approvals and resolve outstanding items.
• Assign expenses to the appropriate account, department, location, or project.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate credits, duplicate invoices, and open balances.
• Assist with payment preparation and respond to vendor questions.
• Support month-end activities, including identifying outstanding invoices and providing accrual information.
• Suggest practical ways to improve invoice flow and reduce recurring issues.

in distribution, manufacturing, building products, construction, or another purchase‑order‑driven environment is a plus. Project coding, three‑way matching, and ERP experience are also helpful.
