Job summary

Walrath Recruiting, Inc. is seeking an accounts payable professional to process and verify invoices, perform three-way matching, and route non-standard invoices for approval. The role includes analyzing vendor statements, paying vendors by check and wire, and communicating with suppliers to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of GL coding and vendor reconciliation. A degree in accounting or finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
• Working knowledge of three-way matching, general ledger coding, and vendor reconciliation.
• Experience issuing payments by check and wire.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with vendors and internal teams.
