CarShop-Penske Automotive Group in Chester Springs, PA is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Corporate Accounting team. This role focuses on accurate processing of payables and adherence to internal controls.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multi-tasking with strong Excel skills (V Lookups, Pivot Tables) and solid communication. A high school diploma with related accounting experience is required; pre-employment testing and a valid driver’s license

Accounts Payable Specialist:

We are looking to hire an accounts payable specialist to our Corporate Accounting team! We offer the ability to grow in an ever changing environment!

We are looking for detailed oriented, organized and dynamic candidates to handle the day-to-day financial transactions of the assigned stores to handle accounts payables, scanning and other general accounting tasks assigned by the Controller, in alignment with the CarShop Values and culture.

How will you make an impact?

We are looking to hire detail oriented, general accounting professionals to perform clerical duties and ensure accuracy of financial records. These are critical entry level roles in our business!

• The successful candidates will be responsible for reconciling accounts payable and receivable accounts.
• Tracking and recording payments and deposits.
• Assist with accounting projects, assemble financial data for audits, reconciling department accounts monthly and preparing reports to present to management.
• Scanning, billing, and other day to day general accounting functions to support the business

What Skills do you need?

• Excel experience is strongly preferred and the experience with V Look Up and Pivot Tables.
• Demonstrate a great attention to detail specifically in the area of records and administration.
• Skilled multi-tasker with excellent time management and communication skills.
