Job summary

CFS in Wisconsin is seeking an AP Specialist to own the accounts payable process, code invoices, and maintain strong vendor relationships. You will work with project managers and internal teams to ensure timely processing across projects.

Ideal candidates have prior AP or accounting experience, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Background in construction or project-based industries is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior accounts payable or accounting experience; construction, contracting, manufacturing, or other project-based industry experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice entry, coding, approvals, and payment processing.
• Review invoices for accuracy and ensure expenses are properly coded to the appropriate accounts and projects.
• Reconcile vendor statements, research discrepancies, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Partner with project managers and internal departments to resolve invoice questions and ensure timely processing.

Salary: $55,000-$58,000
