The role reports to the Accounting Operations Lead and Treasurer, handling accounts payable batches, wire transfers, data entry, and journal entries, with cross-functional collaboration to keep processes compliant.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or 1 year of experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 1 year of professional work experience.
• Accounting work experience preferred but not required.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable batches.
• Wire transfer data entry, verification, and release.
• Scan accounting department documents for legibility.
• Enter journal entries into core system with supporting docs.
• Input data into various systems and spreadsheets.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Assist with AP/AR cross-training.
• Ensure accounting practices comply with policies and regulations.
• Maintain schedules and reconciliations.
• Handle administrative tasks including phone calls and mail.
