Job summary

Timberland Bank is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support accounting operations in Riverside. You will process AP batches, handle wire transfers, and input data across core systems, ensuring documentation is complete and reconciliations are accurate.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Some cross-training on AP/AR and audits will be included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 1 year of professional work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Accounting work experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable batches.
• Handle wire transfer data entry and verification.
• Record journal entries into core system with supporting documents.
• Input data into various systems and spreadsheets.
• Filing of accounting documents and reconciliation of statements.
• Assist in audits, month-end tasks, and cross-train on AP/AR.
