Job summary

JD Finish Line is seeking a Cash Accountant to manage daily bank activity, reconcile ledgers, and process wires and ACH payments. The role collaborates with Treasury and Finance to resolve variances and improve treasury controls in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 1–3 years of related experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as Oracle XStore, ReSA, Aptos, and Workday Accounting Center is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; 1–3 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience with multi-location or multi-fascia retail sales audit operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Record and validate daily bank activity in the General Ledger for non-POS/cash transactions.
• Review and validate daily bank transactions, ensure proper coding and recording.
• Manage corporate deposits, document and reconcile to bank activity and GL.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate with Treasury and Finance to resolve variances and unidentified activity.
• Initiate domestic and international wires and ACH payments per Treasury policies.
• Ensure payments have proper documentation and approvals and are reconciled.
• Maintain supporting documentation for bank activity and reconciliations.
• Monitor bank accounts for unusual activity and escalate issues to Treasury.
• Assist with month-end close and improve cash accounting processes.
