Job summary

Hosack is seeking an accounting specialist in Missouri to manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and independent work within a fast-paced team.

The position requires hands-on experience with AP/AR, strong Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate with operations and accounting leadership on month-end close and reporting.

Qualifications

• Prev experience handling both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable is required.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Review, code, enter, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and process vendor payments.
• Maintain vendor accounts and respond to billing and payment inquiries.
• Process customer payments and accurately apply payments to accounts.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on past-due balances.
• Research and resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts.
• Assist with credit card and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation.
• Assist with month-end close and reporting as needed.
• Work closely with accounting leadership and branch teams to ensure transactions are accurate and properly documented.
• Provide additional accounting and administrative support as needed.
