Job summary

Maas Energy Works, Inc. is seeking a Transactional Accountant to join the Accounting team at our corporate HQ in Redding, CA. This role focuses on accounts payable and receivable, bill processing, invoicing, and cash application to support the company’s growth in the renewable energy sector.

The ideal candidate will have experience with AP/AR, high attention to detail, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. On-site work with competitive hourly pay and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Accounts Payable and Receivable experience preferred.
• High attention to detail required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-growing company.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
• Education in Finance or Accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and pay bills using company accounting software.
• Create and distribute customer invoices and reminders.
• Respond to vendor inquiries via email and phone.
• Track billable receipts and reimbursable expenses.
• Record payments and maintain accurate accounts.
• Support the accounting team with other tasks as needed.
