One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning Corporate Store in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Accounts Payable/Purchasing Assistant to handle AP functions, purchasing tasks, vendor communications and related accounting duties.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and teamwork, with required high school diploma and ability to pass background and drug checks; MS Office proficiency is needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of AP accounting experience or similar accounting functions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 primarily Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Ability to function well independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Verify PO’s for appropriate GL accounts, review price accuracy and resolve variances.
• Post Vendor Invoices and process all Non-PO invoices.
• Maintain filing, scanning and AP document retention.
• Review vendor statements.
• Find discrepancies and resolve with corporate AP in a timely fashion.
• Maintain vendor relationships and update vendor changes.
• Process End-of-Month Open PO’s, canceled orders, and back-orders.
• Other accounting duties as assigned.
• Participate in all company training.
