Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Accounting preferred.
• 1–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and general computer applications.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for accuracy and proper approval.
• Enter invoices into the accounting system and maintain organized records.
• Prepare and process vendor payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and account balances.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and accounts payable reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist with other accounting duties as needed.
