Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Management.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least three years in accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and Adobe.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines under time constraints.
• Ability to handle confidential information with tact, discretion, and professionalism.
• Proactive attitude and a positive approach to supporting staff.

Responsibilities

• Begin with Accounts Payable and transition into Payroll responsibilities.
• Review, process, and pay authorized invoices with timely data entry.
• Maintain vendor files and respond to payment inquiries.
• Process payroll data for all district employees and maintain payroll records.
• Prepare, verify, and distribute payroll checks and other authorized payments.
• Balance payroll and withholding accounts.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and student information.
• Support the Business Manager and district staff as needed.
