Saint Anselm College seeks an Accounts Payable Manager to join the Finance team on campus in Manchester, NH. You will oversee timely AP processing, expense reimbursements, and internal controls using Workday, while delivering excellent service to faculty, staff, students, and vendors.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in AP or accounting, strong detail orientation, and proficiency in Excel. A focus on compliance and collaboration within a fast-paced higher education setting is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Experience using Workday strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, expense reimbursements, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, check requests, and payment transactions in Workday.
• Ensure proper approvals, coding, and supporting documentation for disbursements.
• Review and process employee expense reports per policies and IRS regulations.
• Coordinate with purchasing to maintain supplier records and W-9s.
• Reconcile year-end AP data for IRS 1099-NEC/MISC.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities for AP.
• Prepare prepaid expense schedules and monthly amortization entries.
• Support fixed asset accounting, including depreciation tracking and inventory.
• Ensure internal controls and compliance with policies and standards.
• Respond to vendor and campus inquiries; assist audits with documentation.
• Generate reports and support process improvements in Workday and related systems.
• Track uncleared checks and report Abandoned Property to NH.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
