OhioGuidestone seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Lead to manage daily AP operations, ensuring timely payments, accurate coding, and strong internal controls. You will supervise staff, drive process improvements, and collaborate with the Controller, Grants/Contracts, and program leaders to meet organizational goals.

You will also serve as payroll backup and assist with related reconciliations and reporting, while maintaining vendor records and compliance with expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounts payable or related financial experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit, behavioral health, healthcare, human services, or other regulated environments preferred.
• Experience with grants, cost-reimbursement funding, Single Audits, electronic payments, and AP automation preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily accounts payable operations, including invoice intake, coding, approvals, payments, reimbursements, vendor maintenance, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate payment runs with the Controller and manage vendor relations and inquiries.
• Monitor AP aging and lead process improvements to reduce delays and backlogs.
• Ensure proper authorizations, segregation of duties, and SOP-compliant documentation.
• Provide cross-functional support including payroll backup and reconciliations.
