Job summary

Flow is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the AP process, ensuring accurate and timely invoices, payments, and expense reports. You will collaborate with the finance team, vendors, and other departments to maintain efficient AP operations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, 4–8+ years in AP, and proficiency with Excel and Yardi Voyager in a property management context. The role offers growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 4 - 8+ years of experience in accounts payable.
• In-depth knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Must be a Yardi Voyager super user with experience in accounting and property management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Job Costing/Job Coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments.
• Review and approve invoices, ensuring proper coding, documentation, and authorization.
• Manage vendor relationships, address inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and negotiate terms.
• Reconcile AP transactions and resolve variances with vendors or internal stakeholders.
• Maintain records of AP transactions, vendor files, payment history and supporting documentation.
• Develop and implement AP processes, procedures, and controls to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Collaborate with finance for accruals, month-end closing, and AP-related reporting.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices; implement improvements.
• Provide support during audits and prepare audit schedules.
• Coordinate with property management teams to resolve tenant billing issues.
