Job summary

Thom Browne is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager in New York to oversee daily AP operations, ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, and manage vendor relationships. The role requires leadership to guide the AP team and collaboration with finance to support month-end close.

You will oversee autopay and online invoices, handle the AP inbox, and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years' experience in Accounts Payable or similar function.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounts payable department and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Ensure autopay and online invoices are booked.
• Manage the Accounts Payable Inbox.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve issues related to payments or invoices.
• Booking outgoing payments from the bank.
• Managing the AP Aging and submitting the AP Batch payments.
• Ensure accurate month-end and year-end close processes for accounts payable.
• Investigate Accounts Payable issues as needed.
• Train and develop accounts payable staff and conduct evaluations.
• Monitor and analyze AP processes and drive improvements.
