Job summary

Thomson Reuters in Minnesota seeks an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of invoices, payments, and reimbursements. You will manage a team of AP specialists, maintain controls, and partner with Finance and Procurement to support cash flow.

You will oversee end-to-end AP activities, vendor management, and compliance, while driving process improvements and KPI monitoring across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounts payable experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory/management role
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, AP best practices, and internal controls
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Excel
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end AP cycle: invoice receipt, coding, approval routing, and payment processing
• Manage payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers) and ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time
• Review and approve invoices above delegated authority thresholds
• Oversee employee expense reimbursement processing
• Manage vendor master data and resolve escalated vendor disputes
