Job summary

Kettering Health seeks a highly experienced Manager Accounts Payable to lead our AP function, ensuring accurate, timely invoice processing and compliant payments across the network.

The role drives process improvements, oversees staff development, and maintains strong vendor and internal stakeholder relationships while aligning with our mission and B Safe program.

Leadership and compliance are central, with oversight of 5+ staff and collaboration with finance partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5 years of progressive AP/finance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency with AP systems and ERP/financial management software.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of Form 1099 processing.
• Commitment to confidentiality and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounts payable function to ensure accurate, timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Drive process improvements and ensure regulatory and audit compliance.
• Foster effective vendor and internal stakeholder relationships.
• Perform other duties aligned with Kettering Health's mission and B Safe program.
• Set clear expectations and provide regular feedback to team members.
• Lead change management initiatives related to AP processes and technology.
