Job summary

ProHealth Care in Wisconsin seeks a skilled Accounts Payable leader to supervise the AP department. You will oversee daily operations, mentor staff, and drive process improvements to ensure accuracy and timely payments.

The role interacts with internal and external customers and requires the ability to develop metrics and report on department activities. The position emphasizes education, mentoring and training of department representatives and maintaining adherence to organizational policies

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Accounting or higher.
• At least 6 years of accounting experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with e-invoicing software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Accounts Payable processes and supervise department staff.
• Interact with internal and external customers and provide education, mentoring, evaluating and training to staff.
• Develop and track departmental metrics and provide monthly reports on activities.
• Review and modify processes to improve performance and accuracy of accounts payable.
• Oversee weekly check runs and efficient use of AP systems to meet organizational goals.
