Job summary

Fred Finch Youth & Family Services seeks an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee AP operations and lead the AP team. The role ensures timely, accurate payments and strong internal controls in a mission-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in AP with 2+ years in supervision, solid GAAP knowledge, and strong communication and leadership skills to support the agency and its affiliated entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, plus 18 accounting units.
• 4+ years in accounts payable, with 2+ years in supervision.
• Experience with automated accounting systems and bank reconciliations.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and leadership abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable operations and manage the AP team.
• Ensure timely and accurate payments and maintain internal controls.
• Support the agency’s financial objectives and related entities.
• Lead process improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with staff across the organization and manage multiple priorities.
