Job summary

The Tulalip Tribes is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the Accounts Payable function, guiding staff to accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. You will oversee vendor management, cash disbursements, reimbursements, and the AP team’s development and performance.

You will also supervise IRS reporting requirements (1099, 1042), ensure regulatory compliance, maintain knowledge of GASB and ERP systems, and align AP practices with tribal policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor in Finance, Accounting or related field with substitution allowed on a year-for-year basis.
• Five years (5) of accounts payable processing experience.
• Five years (5) of general ledger and financial reporting experience.
• Five years (5) of supervisory experience with ERP systems.
• GASB experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Accounts Payable process and ensure timely invoice processing.
• Oversee AP policies, vendor management, cash disbursements and reimbursements.
• Supervise, develop, and evaluate the AP team.
• Oversee IRS reporting requirements (Forms 1099 and 1042) and ensure compliance with deadlines.
