Job summary

The Tulalip Tribes is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function. You will supervise staff, ensure accurate invoicing, vendor payments, and timely cash disbursements in a compliant environment.

You will also oversee IRS reporting obligations (Forms 1099 and 1042), maintain knowledge of related regulations, and drive process improvements across the department to support tribal operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with general ledger and financial reporting.
• Experience with Fund and/or General Accounting concepts.
• Supervisory experience with ERP systems.
• GASB knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes.
• Develop and enforce AP policies and procedures.
• Manage vendor relationships and cash disbursements.
• Oversee employee reimbursements.
• Supervise, develop, and evaluate the AP team.
• Ensure IRS reporting, including Forms 1099 and 1042, compliance.
